At the end of October we're gonna travel 2 weeks in China!! :)

I'm so happy!! I really love to discover new places and cultures and, because of work, it's been a while since I had a big trip, I missed it!

I'm organizing the trip now, there are too many things to see!!! How am I gonna do to make a choice and put together an itinerary??!

I love planning journeys almost as much as I love traveling. After some research on Pinterest, here are my very favorite things I found, so far at least… ;)

Je suis tellement heureuse!! J'adore découvrir de nouveaux lieux et cultures et à cause du travail, ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas fait un gros voyage, ça me manquait!

Je suis en train d'organiser le voyage maintenant, il ya trop de choses à voir!!! Comment je vais faire pour faire un choix et concocter un itinéraire ??!

J'aime organiser des voyages presque autant que voyager...

At the airport

I'm going to Rome for the week-end. We're going to spend the week-end with my family and also with my boyfriend's family. They've never been there before. It's gonna be a lovely week-end. I'm so happy we're going to be in Italy altogether!! :)

Then on Sunday we'll have a huge lunch in the countryside with all my girlfriends as well!! I can't wait!

I also planned a meeting with my Italian agent on Monday.

It will be a full week-end! :)

Je suis en train d'aller à Rome pour le week-end. Nous allons passer le week-end avec ma famille et aussi avec la famille de mon amoureux. C'est la première fois qu'ils viennent à Rome. Ça va être un beau week-end. Je suis tellement contente que nous allons être tous ensemble en Italie! :)

Puis dimanche, nous allons faire un grand déjeuner à la campagne avec toutes mes copines aussi! J'ai trop hate! 

J'ai aussi prévu une réunion avec mon agent italien lundi.

Ça va être un week-end plein! :)

Rooftop date night

Last week, when my boyfriend organized a romantic date as we were spending two weekends apart, I had exactly the same idea. So we had not one, but two romantic dates! <3 

At the beginning of the summer, I read about this new rooftop bar near Montmartre, so I booked a table for what was supposed to be sunniest and brightest day of the week and asked for a table near the edge of the terrace. Which we had as well as a warm night... And a beautiful, cloudy panorama over Paris!! Ahah! Weather forecasts are not reliable!

La semaine dernière, quand mon amoureux a organisé un rendez-vous romantique vu que nous allions passer deux week-ends de suite séparés, j'ai eu exactement la même idée. Nous avons donc eu pas un, mais deux rendez-vous romantiques! <3

Au début de l'été, j'avais lu de ce nouveau bar sur les toits, près de Montmartre, donc j'ai réservé une table pour ce qui devait être le jour le plus ensoleillé et lumineux de la semaine et j'ai demandé une table près du bord de la terrasse. Ce que nous avons eu ainsi qu’une nuit estivale... Et un magnifique et nuageux panorama sur tout Paris!! Ahah! Il ne faut pas se fier à la météo!

Anyway, we had a very lovely night. The view is breathtaking; you literally have the whole city at your feet. The place is really quite and intimate. 

En tout cas, nous avons passé une très belle soirée. La vue est à couper le souffle,  vous avez littéralement toute la ville à vos pieds. De plus, l'endroit est calme et intime.

But it's only worth if you have a table on the panorama side otherwise there is no interest in being there. Moreover food and drinks are pretty bad and overpriced. We had an almost undrinkable bottle of wine for 32 €... And some tapas fairly basic and too expensive. Obviously, one goes there for the view and pays for it! :)

Mais ça vaut le coup seulement si vous avez une table du coté du panorama, sinon il n’y a pas grand intérêt à être là. De plus que la nourriture et les boissons sont assez mauvaises et excessivement chères. Nous avons pris une bouteille de vin presque imbuvable qui était à 32 €... Et quelques tapas assez basiques et trop chères aussi. Évidemment, on y va pour la vue et on paie pour cela! :)

Otherwise, on the fasion side, I wore a new lace dress from Forever 21, that is really comfy to wear, makes long legs and it's perfect for this warm-but-not-to-hot season as the fabric is quite thick.

Sinon coté mode, j’avais mis une nouvelle robe en dentelle de Forever 21, qui est très agréable à porter, fait de longues jambes et est parfaite pour ce climat chaud-mais-pas-trop car le tissu est plutôt épais.

With this, I put a trench from Faith Connexion (old), high heels sandals from Sisley (old) and - no need to say - Louis Vuitton bag.

Avec cela, j’avais mis un trench de Faith Connexion (old), sandales à talons Sisley (old) et - pas besoin de le spécifier - sac Louis Vuitton.

Update

The shooting for the Internet advertising for which I auditioned last week is supposed to be tomorrow. As I have not heard from the casting director so far, I guess I've not been selected. It's so annoying to never get an answer. I understand people are busy, but still. A short e-mail to give an answer would be nice ;)

Otherwise I've been called by a director with whom I worked last season (on the "Happy birthgay papa!" play), he has written a new play and thought of me for one of the main roles :) So now I'm reading the script.

I have many potential projects at the moment, but nothing materializes. Boring! ;p

After I'll finish with the reading, I'm going to prepare an eggplant parmigiana for dinner. I still have eggplants from our garden that my aunt sent me two weeks ago (I had frozen them, obviously!!). I must have the only aunt that sends fried eggplants by mail! She took them in the garden, cooked them, put them in a tupperware, went to the post office and two day later eggplants were in my kitchen...Genius!! ;))

Le tournage de la publicité Internet pour laquelle j'ai auditionné la semaine dernière est censé être demain. Comme je n'ai pas eu de nouvelles de la directrice de casting jusqu'à maintenant, je suppose que je n'ai pas été sélectionnée. C'est tellement ennuyeux de ne jamais avoir de réponse. Je sais que les gens sont très occupés, mais quand même. Un court e-mail pour donner une réponse serait sympa ;) 

Sinon j'ai été appelée par un metteur en scène avec qui j'ai travaillé la saison dernière (sur la pièce "Happy birthgay papa!"), il a écrit une nouvelle pièce et a pensé à moi pour l'un des rôles principaux :) Alors là je lis le scénario.  

J'ai beaucoup de projets possibles en ce moment, mais rien qui se concrétise. C'est chiant! ;p 

Après la lecture, je vais préparer une "parmigiana" pour le dîner. J'ai encore des aubergines de notre jardin que ma tante m'a envoyé il y a deux semaines (je les avais surgelé, bien évidemment!!). Je dois avoir la seule tante qui envoie des aubergines frites par courrier! Elle les a prises dans le jardin, les a cuisinés, mises dans un tupperware, est allée à la poste et deux jours plus tard les aubergines étaient dans ma cuisine ... Genial!! ;))

Today

I just came back home from a casting for an Internet advertising. It's so  weird to casting for advertising as you don't really have to perform and you don't know why you're chosen or not. It's more like: "look straight ahead, no smile, show your profile, the other one, thank you, we'll let you know, goodbye". Today, we also had to say a short sentence in our mother tongue (other than French) so I was in front of the camera repeating this little phrase over and over again. Feeling ridiculous. Ahah! Otherwise, the casting director was really nice and friendly.

I really hope they're gonna take me!!!

I was hoping to be the only Italian girl, but obviously the girl waiting next to me was Italian too! :s

Now I'm studying a text for an audition tomorrow for a pretty funny theatre play and then I'm gonna relax. Mick is going out with his friend tonight so I'll have quite night for myself ;) I'd love to take a bubble bath and a glass of wine... Except we only have a shower and no bath tube! ;p

Je viens de rentrer à la maison d'un casting pour une publicité Internet. C'est bizarre les castings pour la publicité, il ne faut pas vraiment jouer un texte et on ne sait pas vraiment pourquoi on est choisi ou pas. C'est plutôt du genre: "Regarde droit devant toi, non sourit pas, montre ton profil, l'autre, merci, on vous fera savoir, au revoir". Aujourd'hui, on avait aussi une courte phrase à dire dans notre langue maternelle (autre que le français), j'étais donc devant la caméra en train de répéter cette petite phrase encore et encore. Je vous assure qu'on se sent ridicule. Ahah! 

Sinon la directrice de casting était très gentille et sympa.

J'espère vraiment d’être prise!!!

J'espérais être la seule fille italienne, mais, évidemment, la jeune fille qui attendait à côté de moi était italienne aussi! :s 

Maintenant, je suis en train d’étudier un texte pour une audition demain pour une pièce assez drôle et puis je vais passer une soirée relax. Mick sort avec ses potes, donc ce soir j'ai une petite soirée pour moi ;) J'aimerais prendre un bain avec des bulles et un verre de vin... Sauf que nous n'avons pas de baignoire seulement une douche! ;p

Surfin' Paris

Last weekend I finally went surfing. It's been a while since my last surf session and I was missing it so much!

It's not easy to find surfers in Paris so 2 years ago I joined a surf club to meet other people with the same passion and go surfing together. Some of them became friends over time and last weekend there was also my friend Nora, who wanted to try surfing. The only missing person was my love, who remained in Paris to work (and who doesn't really like surfing actually) :(

We went to the Dunes de Bretignolles.

The sky was blue, the weather was sunny and the waves were perfect :)

Le week-end dernier je suis finalement allée surfer. Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas surfé et ça me manquait énormément!  

Ce n'est pas facile de trouver des surfeurs à Paris du coup il y a 2 ans je me suis inscrite à un club de surf afin de rencontrer d'autres personnes avec la même passion et aller surfer ensemble. Certains d'entre eux sont devenus des amis avec le temps et le week-end dernier il y avait aussi ma copine Nora, qui voulait essayer le surf. La seule personne manquante était mon amoureux, qui est resté à Paris travailler (et qui n'aime pas vraiment le surf pour tout dire) :(

Nous sommes allés aux Dunes de Bretignolles:
Le ciel était bleu, le temps était ensoleillé et les vagues étaient parfaites :)

We surfed Saturday morning and afternoon.

Followed by a huge barbecue (to stay in the water all day makes you hungry!!)

On Sunday we surfed again all day before heading back to Paris, where we arrived super late (around 3 am – I'm still tired since!). But it was definitely worth it!

Le dimanche nous avons surfé encore toute la journée avant de reprendre la route pour Paris, où nous sommes arrivés super tard (vers 3 heures du matin - je suis encore fatiguée depuis!). Mais il en valait vraiment la peine!

Date night

Since last weekend I went surfing (photos coming soon!!! – And I still have so many pictures from this summer too to show you…) and tomorrow I'm going to Riga for Bea's hen party, I was not seeing Mick so much lately. During the week with work and everything else, we don't really have so much free time… So on Tuesday night we went out on date.

I really think it's important to take some lovely time with your loved one and organize romantic dates even once you live together.

Mick found a nice restaurant and invited me out :)

The place was very nice, in a quiet street in the Abesses neighborhood. The owner was very friendly, the service perfect and the food really good.

I had a sort of fish soup that was excellent and big, so big I couldn't finish it nor take a dessert! 

Comme le week-end dernier je suis allée surfer (les photos arrivent!!! - Et j'ai encore tellement de photos de cet été à vous montrer...) et demain je vais à Riga pour l'enterrement de vie de jeune fille de Béa, je ne voyais pas beaucoup Mick dernièrement. Pendant la semaine avec le travail et tout le reste, nous n'avons pas beaucoup de temps libre... Alors mardi soir, nous sommes sortis en amoureux. 

Je pense que c'est très important de prendre du joli temps en amoureux et organiser des rdv romantiques, même une fois qu'on vit ensemble. 

Mick a trouvé un beau restaurant et m'a invité dehors :) 

L'endroit était très agréable, dans une rue calme dans le quartier des Abbesses. Le propriétaire était très sympa, le service parfait et la nourriture très bonne. 

J'ai pris une espèce de soupe de poisson qui était excellente et énorme, si énorme que je n'ai même pas pu finir ni prendre un dessert!

Also everything is homemade. Even the bread. It was so good that now I want to try to make bread at home myself. It can't be so difficult, right?

Anyway, if you're looking for a nice place for dinner, I really suggest you to give "Le restaurant" a try!

De plus tout est fait maison. Même le pain. Il était tellement bon que ça m'a donné envie d'essayer de faire du pain maison moi-même. Ça ne doit pas être si difficile, non? 

Anyway, si vous êtes à la recherche d'un endroit agréable pour le dîner, je vous conseille vraiment d'essayer "Le restaurant"!

Tiny Tea : my final review

Here I am, I finished my detox with tiny tea.

I already wrote a post in the middle of the cure. Nothing has really changed since:

I really have much more energy, I feel super fit and I'm not tired at all, even when I work a lot or I party too much ;)

My skin is bright (but that I'm not sure it's because of the tea) and my stomach is really flat.

And regarding my weight nothing to report. But as I was not doing the cure for losing weight, that's fine. I wanted to eliminate toxins and cleanse my body. It is true that when the digestive system is tired, all the body suffers. And for me, tinytea worked very well. So if you want to eliminate toxins, feel better and boost your energy, I highly recommend tinytea. But if you want to lose weight just by drinking tea and you expect miraculous results, such as those seen on instagram... I suggest you to drop the tea and rather adopt a healthy diet and to exercise. Sorry, this may not be what you want to hear, I know, but it's the only thing that works...

Personally, I think once a year I will adopt tinytea because I really feel good!

Plus, I really enjoyed my little routine with my tea... So now every day in the middle of the morning I drink a little tea; I have a very good one with fruits right now.

One last thing, I waited 4 weeks since the end of the detox, before writing my final feedback, and yes, benefits are still there. Phew! ;)

Et voilà, j'ai terminé ma détox avec le tiny tea.

J'avais déjà écrit un post  à la moitié de la cure. Rien n'a vraiment changé depuis :

Niveau énergie c'est top, je me sens super en forme et je ne suis pas du tout fatiguée, même quand je travaille beaucoup ou je fais un peu trop la fête ;)

Ma peau est lumineuse, (mais ça je ne suis pas sure que ce soit grâce au thé) et mon ventre est vraiment plat.

Et niveau poids rien à signaler. Mais comme je ne faisais pas cette cure pour perdre du poids, ça me va. Je voulais éliminer les toxines et purifier mon organisme. C'est vrai que quand le système digestif est fatigué, tout le corps en souffre. Et pour moi, tinytea a très bien fonctionné. Si vous voulez donc éliminer les toxines, vous sentir mieux et booster votre énergie, je vous recommande vivement tinytea. Mais si vous voulez maigrir juste en buvant du thé et vous vous attendez à des résultats miraculeux comme ceux qu'on voit sur instagram… Je vous conseille de laisser tomber le thé et plutôt d'adopter une alimentation saine et faire du sport. Sorry, c'est peut-être pas ce que vous voulez entendre, je sais, mais c'est la seule chose qui marche…

Personnellement, je pense qu'une fois par an je vais adopter le tinytea car je me sens vraiment bien!

De plus, j'aimais bien ma petite routine avec mon the… Du coup maintenant chaque jour au milieu de la matinée, je bois un petit thé; j'en ai un très bon aux fruits en ce moment.

Une dernière chose, j'ai attendu 4 semaines depuis la fin de la detox, avant d'écrire mon feedback final, et oui, les bienfaits sont toujours là. Ouf! ;)

Stewed peaches

Sunday, as every Sunday morning, we went to the market for fruits and vegetables.

We usually go to a very good and surprisingly cheap market near our place, but last Sunday morning we were in another area of Paris because of my boyfriend's job (yep on a Sunday!) and we didn't have much time as we were heading to tree climbing, so we went to another market.

Among other things, we took peaches, but they weren't good (either they were tasteless either they went bad after two days). As we weren't eating them nor I wanted to waste them, I made stewed peaches. It's super easy, very tasty, good and you can do it with almost every fruit (apples, apricots, mangoes, bananas…). It's the perfect way not to waste bad fruits (it really makes me angry to waste food!).

Dimanche, comme chaque dimanche matin, nous sommes allés au marché pour les fruits et légumes.

D'habitude nous allons à un marché très bon et étonnamment pas cher près de chez nous, mais dimanche dernière nous étions dans un autre coin de Paris pour le travail de mon copain (oui un dimanche!) et nous n'avions pas beaucoup de temps car nous avions prévu d'aller faire de l'accrobranche, donc nous sommes allés à un autre marché.

Nous avons pris des pêches, mais elles n'étaient pas bien (soit elles n'avaient pas de goût soit elles ont pourri au bout de deux jours). Comme nous n'étions pas en train de les manger et que je ne voulais pas les perdre, j'ai préparé une compote de pêches.

C'est super facile à faire, délicieux, bon et on peut faire des comptes avec presque tous les fruits (pommes, abricots, mangues, bananes...). C'est le moyen idéal pour ne pas perdre de mauvais fruits (ça m'énerve vraiment de gaspiller la nourriture).

All you have to do is cut the fruits in little pieces (with peaches and nectarines is even easier as you don't need to take the skin off), put them in a large pot and add a little bit of water. Not too much, half a glass should be enough, it's just to avoid the fruits to burn.

Tout ce que vous avez à faire est couper les fruits en petits morceaux (avec les pêches et les nectarines c'est encore plus facile car ce n'est pas nécessaire d'enlever la peau), les mettre dans une grande casserole et ajouter un peu d'eau. Pas trop, un demi-verre devrait suffire, c'est juste pour éviter que les fruits ne brulent.

Fruits are generally sweet (except these stupid peaches), so I usually don't add sugar, sometimes a little bit of honey. And often cinnamon.

Les fruits sont en général sucrés (à part ces stupides pêches), normalement je ne rajoute pas de sucre, parfois un peu de miel. Et souvent de la cannelle.

Let the fruits cook at low fire until they start to decompose (about 30 minutes).

Let the stewed fruits cool off and serve.

Laissez les fruits cuire à feu doux jusqu'à ce qu'ils commencent à se décomposer (environ 30 minutes).

Laissez refroidir et servez.

If you prefer you can mix the stewed fruits to obtain a sort of cream.

I prefer it that way, but Mick prefers the other way, so beacuse love I didn't mix the peaches ;)

Selon vos préférences, vous pouvez mixer les fruits cuits pour obtenir une compote ou les garder en morceaux.

Moi je les préfère en comporte, mais Mick préfère les morceaux, donc par amour je n'ai pas mixé les pêches ;)

You can prepare larger quantity of stewed fruits and keep theme in the fridge for about 5 days.
I often do that. And then I like eating stewed fruits for breakfast. But as I do not like eating cold things in the morning, I warmed them in the microwave... Am I weird ?! ;))

Je fais souvent cela. Et puis j'aime manger la compote au petit déjeuner. Mais comme je n'aime pas manger des choses froides le matin, je la réchauffe un peu au microonde… Suis-je bizarre?! ;))
