Cette semaine.. // This week..

Doudoune See U Soon.
Jacket See U Soon.
*********************************************************************************
I know, I've a little disappeared these last days, but this week has been long and full...
Starting with a very motivating workshop with Martin Rougier, casting director. In addition to an interesting work he's also a very nice person: the only casting director who ever answered "thank you" to my e-mail containing CV and pictures..!

*********************************************************************************
Then, I had to start again with products' promotion. This time for some foie gras, I've been promoted: I'm doing luxury goods now...
1st problem: I think foie gras is disgusting. I'm not at all vegetarian, but honestly to force-feed the poor, little ducks is, in my opinion, a barbarian practice.
2nd problem: despite the fact my boss told me the workplace was only 50 minutes far from my place, it actually took me 3 hours to go there the first day, as there are almost no buses going to the mall from the train station... Therefore, I waited one hour and a half in the cold for the bus, sitting in a photo machine in order to protect myself from the wind... My head after one hour and 10 minutes looked like this:

*****************************************
Of course, once I finally reached the mall, the departmental manager yelled at me and since then she hates me and she's nasty to me... it's awful!
3rd problem: I still haven't signed any job contract after more than one month of work..
4th problem: Chelles' mall is half closed so there are no clients. I challenge anyone to promote or sell any product under these conditions:

*****************************************
5th problem: it's always super cold!!
But I wanna finish on a positive note: as the cold keeps better and I'm half frozen, maybe I'll look young longer!!

*********************************************************************************
In addition to that, my beloved aunt is here, so we went out every night. We went to the opening of Italian artist Domenico Bianchi exhibition; it was really interesting and followed by a very nice dinner.
Yesterday too we were out with friends, but I was so tired I almost fell asleep during dinner.... and at the end I was even told that for an actress I do not speak that much... As if an actor should constantly entertain a public...! People are weird...
Tonight we finally spent an evening at home and sometimes it feels so good!
Plus, we're shooting tomorrow so it would be good for me to rest a little in order to have a normal head! ;)
Among this all, I also managed to get a drink with Paola before she goes back to Italy for holidays.

Fatiguée!! // Sooo tired!!

*****************************************************************************
I'm in the subway going back home. We (almost) finished shooting the short-movie for the Mobile Film Festival. And tomorrow we're gonna start preparing another film for another competition... I'm dreaming of being able to spend just one night at home watching Gossip Girl!!

// Sunday is not a rest day..

Pull Brandy, skirt New Look, necklace and bracelets from Indian markets, ring Cartier.
********************************************************************************
Sunday is not a rest day for an actress. At the beginning of the afternoon, we start shooting our short-movie for the Mobile Film Festival. The concept: to shoot a film of less than one minute with a mobile phone. We had a super nice idea, as soon as I can, you'll be the first to watch the movie!

*********************************************************************************
After that, I went to see the play "Un apéro presque parfait" for which I auditioned last week. It was very funny, so keep the fingers crossed for me, as I would really like to work in it!!

*********************************************************************************
And now I'm watching short-movies as I'm part of the Jury at the "Disturb Awards" - for once instead of being judged, it's me who judge! - and I have to communicate my favorite films on Wednesday... it's not easy!!
I'm going back to work now! I just had a little break to give you some news!

Rencontre avec Polanski // Meeting with Polanski

Today "Carnage" with the director Roman Polanski.
So here we are, Béa, Jenny and I sitting in the front row, ready to see this cinema's genius and with an envelope containing our CVs, photos and showreels... He arrives, half an hour late, he's a star! ;) , he makes a very funny speech to introduce his movie and he goes away, leaving the room from the opposite side from us...
We look at each other and run out to catch him outside the room! Jenny hands him the envelope, he gives us a puzzled look asking if this is for him (for who else it must be??!), I squeal - litteraly, my voice came out high and sharp - "yes", he looks at us as if we were crazy and thanking us goes away, giving the precious envelope to his assistant... Well, we tried at least...
The movie was very good btw and wonderfully played!

*********************************************************************************
And here I am, 3 bad news in the space of 5 hours ... is it possible?
I was passing interviews for a part-time job in finance. It was not the job of my life, but I thought that by working mornings only, I would still have enough free time to dedicate to acting while having a fixed salary at the end of the month, since one can’t live on love alone...! At midday I passed the last interview with the CEO, we were only two candidates left, I was quite sure I'd get the job... and finally they called me at the end of the afternoon to tell me they had chosen the other candidate because she is 46 years old,  married with children and has a more organized life... as if an actress was necessarily an unstable person who cannot be trusted! And here I am, therefore obliged to continue promoting sausages!
Then, my sex-friend called me to put an end to our "relationship". But there wasn't any relationship... I was so depressed because of the job, that all of that went in the background... but still it's not very good for self-esteem! Plus, the good thing about this kind of relationship is precisely not to get worked up and not to be dumped... right?
And finally ten minutes ago, I received an email about an audition I had this morning. Needless to say that they have chosen another actress!
I think it's not my day!
At least in the afternoon Jenny and I worked very well in finalizing the scripts for two short films we’re gonna shoot for two competitions, hoping to repeat last time’s achievement! And we helped each other to repeat the texts for our upcoming auditions!
C’mon, tomorrow is another day! ;)
Au travail with Jenny!

Les 3 derniers jours.. // The last 3 days..

Et maintenant ces 3 jours en images:
********************************************************************************
These three days spent promoting sausages were so tiring that I’ve been unable to keep you updated… but honestly to spend 9 hours standing in the cold (the fresh department is very fresh!) is exhausting.
Btw, a sociological question came to my mind: several men tasted the products I was promoting and at the time of purchase they said they should ask the permission to their wives. They often came back to tell me they had no right to buy the meat they wanted ... ok, what’s going on? why men do not even have the ability to decide what kind of food to buy? They’re like that because of women? and then we’re surprised they are unable to take decisions and act like children ...
Then, the favorite game of clients was to guess my nationality. 99% of them thought I was from Canada ... I do not know whether to be glad as French is the mother tongue of people from Quebec or offended because of their incomprehensible accent... the remaining 1% is a guy who thought I was from Tahiti ... Seriously, do I have a Tahitian physique?
At least I had plenty of time during my lunch breaks (2 hours break ... what is one supposed to do for 2 hours when in the middle of nowhere?) to study my texts for an audition for next week.
And Saturday night, completely exhausted, I went to my friends Bea and Jenny’s b-day parties. Honestly, I hated them when leaving my house... but eventually we had a lot of fun!

No need to say that after that I spent my Sunday between the bed and the couch... ;)
And now these 3 days in pictures:
No comment....

No comment neither...

Je vous présente la saucisse d'Ardèche...
Let me introduce you the Ardèche sausage...

In the mall, studying my text during lunch break (I was so depressed to be there that at least I couldn't even do any shopping and spend all the money I was earning)...

...Et mes exercises de diction...
And my speech lessons...

...I also wrote the whole text in phonetic characters...

Je suis une actrice svp!!!!
I'm an actress please!!!!!

Going out Saturday night. Considering how tired I am, eventually I have to say I'm not so bad...!

Bonjour Madame, vous aimez bien la saucisse? // Hello Madam, do you like the sausage?

*********************************************************************************
Here I am, back from a day spent promoting the Ardèche sausage in a shabby mall, that wanted to look like the cheapest Vegas' casino...
I must share the place with you

And I still have to days left... Perhaps I should also find another phrase to approach clients rather than: "Hello Madam, do you like the sausage? Do you wanna taste it?"...

Ma soirée d'anniversaire! // My b-day party!!

*********************************************************************************
I just spent the afternoon looking for casting calls... there are a lot of jobs for actresses between 20 and 30 years old... but one has also to be Chinese, fat and preferably speak Arabic! it's tough...
And starting tomorrow, I have another 3 days promoting sausages...
So, to cheer me up, and as I promised you, here are some pictures of my b-day party!
Pour l'occasion, j'ai choisi une robe dos nu Faith Connexion, escarpins en vernis Camomilla, boucles d'oreilles Agathe, bague H&M, bracelets vintage.
